The inception of our company traces back to Max’s encounter with Gus Van Sant’s absurdist philosophy, which inspired the name “Do Easy.” This revelation occurred while Max was awaiting his shift at Aliena Group’s stylish cocktail lounge, The Aviary. Before work, the founders, Grant Achatz and Micah Melton, shared a video that deeply resonated with Max, embedding in him a commitment to nonchalant meticulousness that can often be mistaken for magic. So, what is “Do Easy” exactly? At Do Easy Productions, it’s about approaching tasks with ease and efficiency, without sacrificing quality. It’s a philosophy of doing things in the most relaxed and straightforward manner possible, with a dedication to excellence rooted in peace. Max’s dedication to this ethos was so profound that he tattooed the words “Do Easy” on his hands.
